Paraloid™ B-72 is a conservation grade acrylic lacquer used for the preservation of artefacts and coins.

The 150ml SELF-MIX KIT was requested by our international customers as we cannot ship the pre-mixed product outside of the UK.

The kit includes almost everything you need to mix your own Paraloid™ B-72 mixture excluding the acetone.

  • Bottle and safety cap.
  • Label (provided loose, to be applied to bottle after mixing).
  • Paraloid™ B-72 granules (pre-weighed and ready to mix).
  • Cloth.
  • 2 x Brushes (Wide and Narrow).
  • Wooden stick to hold your small coins/artefacts when coating.
  • Guidance and safety leaflet.

You will need:

  • Pure acetone (99% or above).
  • BluTac or similar to hold your coins/artefact on the stick when coating.
  • Appropriate safety equipment.

DETAILS

Paraloid™ B-72 self-mix kit is provided with all you need apart from the acetone. This includes a 150ml bottle with safety cap, microfibre cloth and two brushes.

TIPS FOR USE

1. Clean the object removing any loose material, dirt or dust.

2. Make sure the object is completely dry.

3. Follow all safety guidelines.

4. Using a brush, coat the object completely and leave to dry.

5. Add additional coats as required.
